Residents in one Kansas City, Missouri neighborhood are afraid to leave their homes after dark because of some recent attacks. No, people haven’t been attacked by a person, but by…owls. Yes, owls!
For reasons unknown, the owls have been swooping down and attacking people as they walk or jog down the street. Bird experts think that the owls may be protecting their young, as they are very territorial, but they haven’t seen a case like this.
So if you happen to be in Kansas City, maybe stay inside after dark. Or at least keep your head on a swivel! Get it?
