Everyone’s seen the similarities, and Larry David has even acknowledged some but as it turns out, he and Bernie Sanders are in fact cousins!
Granted, they are distant cousins but the resemblance is not just in our heads!
The PBS show Finding Your Roots, which helps celebrities look into where they came from and who they are related to, broke the news to the two Brooklyn natives during the premier of their newest season and said David and Sanders are probably something along the lines of third or fourth cousins.
“That is unbelievable,” said Bernie. “People talk to me about Larry David and I say, ‘He does a better Bernie Sanders than I do!'”
Now we just need Bernie and Larry to run for the presidency in 2020 and we would have a hilarious and socially active pair in office!
