A Disabled Man Was Denied A Scooter For Black Friday Shopping At WalMart (Video)

Lonnie George is a disabled man with a spine problem who needed to use a motorized scooter cart at WalMart on Black Friday but was denied.

George said when he tried to get a cart in order to get a good deal on a TV and other items there were none out. When he asked an associate where the motorized carts were he was told they were not out that day due to safety concerns.

Now, which is more of a “safety concern,” having to keep an eye out for people on scooters or having elderly people fall down and get hurt because they can’t walk or stand for extended periods of time?

It seems George has more faith in the people of WalMart than the rest of us.

“People walks through here every day and it might be a little crowded. They got two eyes. They can see,” he said.

Like Free Beer said, maybe not everyone there has two eyes and can see but we’ll let Lonnie have this one because he’s been through a lot.

To make matters worse, nobody would help George out to get the things he wanted and spend his money at their store so he had to leave.

At least Steve can feel less alone on missing out on a TV this Black Friday, maybe Lonnie got a printer too!
