United Wouldn’t Allow A Woman To Fly With Her Emotional Support Peacock (Video)

Is it just us, or is this whole “emotional support animal” thing really getting out of control on flights? In the past, it wasn’t uncommon to see someone on a flight with a service dog and obviously, there are plenty of legit cases where someone needs the assistance of an animal. But these days, it seems like people are going to the extreme to try and get their bizarre pets on flights.

In the most recent example, a woman tried to board a United flight earlier this week with her emotional support animal, but she was turned down once she got to the airport. She even bought a separate ticket for the animal! But nope, United wouldn’t allow it. It’s worth noting that her support animal was a freakin’ peacock, so yeah, we’re not really surprised that United wasn’t too enthused about the whole idea and turned her away.

Luckily, someone witnessed the whole ordeal, which took place at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, and recorded it for all of us to enjoy. And if you’d like to see more from the peacock, it apparently belongs to an artist and has its own Instagram account. So there ya go.
