Dirty Hotels In Minneapolis Charged Up To $900 A Night For The Super Bowl (Video)

While the Super Bowl held in Minneapolis was a chance for the Eagles to raise the Vince Lombardi trophy, nearby hotels used it as a chance to raise their prices!

Hotels like Days Inn, Super 8, and the Metro Inn Motel charged anywhere between $400 to over $900 for a room but when Inside Edition investigated, the rooms were so much worse than your usual expectations.

Nobody expects the fanciest room ever at places like this, no offense to them, but the point is to get a reasonably-priced place to lay your head for a night. It seems to us that Inside Edition must have had a slow week and set out to find pretty much what one would expect.

However, when you pay so much for one of these normally cheap rooms and there’s cigarette ashes and burns on the floor and blankets, lube packets left behind and bugs and syringes on the floor, it’s a bit of an issue.

Even worse, the room at the Metro Inn not only didn’t have a smoke alarm, but the door didn’t even close let alone lock.

We’re sure if the ownership of these establishments would have done enough cleaning and work to warrant the up-charge all would be fine and people would be pleasantly surprised but if you’re drunk enough after a huge game, anywhere but the sidewalk is probably okay enough to sleep!
