Zombie Raccoons On The Loose Is The Most Ohio Thing To Happen To Ohio (Video)

Police in Youngstown, Ohio have been seeing an increase in calls from homeowners about “zombie” raccoons and it’s honestly not surprising that Ohio is being overrun by raccoons.

Apparently these crazy critters have been getting up on their hind legs, showing their teeth, and then fall backward.

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (DNR) says the raccoons are not flesh-eating monsters back from the dead, but are infected with distemper. If you don’t know what distemper is, it’s apparently extremely contagious and causes respiratory problems and seizures.

Don’t worry, humans can’t get it but dogs can so avoid contact!

Honestly, is this Youngstown, Ohio or Pawnee, Indiana because this sounds straight from an episode of Parks and Recreation!
