We’ve always heard that journalists and broadcasters are supposed to stick to this idea of being completely impartial but during the Stanley Cup Playoffs, objectivity be damned!
These two Las Vegas broadcasters for KVVU were live on TV when they found out their very own Vegas Golden Knights defeated the San Jose Sharks in overtime.
The game-winning goal from William Karlsson isn’t the only reason Golden Knights fans have to celebrate, this team is making history on their road to the cup!
Before this most recent win, according to ESPN, Vegas Golden Knights are the first modern expansion team in basically all American professional sports to win their division in their inaugural season. They also are the first franchise in NHL history to sweep a postseason series in their inaugural season, a feat VGK achieved in their series against the LA Kings.
Golden Knights fans definitely have a lot to celebrate and the Stanley Cup is a special time for NHL fans everywhere but we think this guy who can’t stop yelling is going to be hard to beat!
