Money Mayhem On Indianapolis Interstate After Cash Flies From Brinks Truck (Video)

It’s one of the most ultimate “what would you do” situations ever. Imagine, you’re driving down the highway when all of a sudden thousands of dollar bills just go flying into the road. Do you stop and cash in, or do you keep going?

Well people in Indianapolis were faced with this dilemma and now police are looking to get the money back!

A Brinks truck was driving down I-70 when another driver pointed out that the back door was open, releasing a trail of money in its wake.

So how much money was left on the highway? Oh, only a few HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Yup, troopers initially estimated up to $600,000 was left behind but that’s definitely not how much was recovered because people went nuts.

People were hopping fences, stopping their cars, even a school bus made an extra stop!

Police are trying to track down the stolen money, though, because apparently taking money from the scene is considered theft. Lucky for some, if people will be granted amnesty if they willingly turn in the cash.

So there you have it, folks, if you find cash on the highway, assume you’re being watched as part of some social experiment and keep on your merry way…or take all you can and get the hell out of town! Up to you…
