Over the weekend, Jimmy Kimmel took on Texas Senator Ted Cruz in a one-on-one basketball game, dubbed the “Blobfish Basketball Classic.” This all came about after Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals when Kimmel mocked a photo of Cruz, who attended the game, referring to him as a “blobfish.” Cruz then challenged Kimmel to a game of one-on-one, with the loser having to donate $5,000 to a non-political charity of the winner’s choice.
