A couple of months ago, Troy was tying down a load of timber to his tractor trailer out in the woods when the truck started sliding towards him. West’s leg ended up getting pinned under the rear wheels of the trailer. Apparently the tire broke all the bones in his lower leg immediately, so Troy made the split-second decision to RIP HIS OWN LEG OFF in order to avoid being dragged the rest of the way underneath the truck, which would have no doubt killed him. To reiterate, this dude ripped his own freakin’ leg off!
Miraculously, West survived the torturous ordeal by calling 911, remaining calm and telling his co-workers how to properly apply a tourniquet. That’s right. The guy who had just ripped his own leg off had to be the voice of reason and keep people calm and instruct them how to give him medical care!
