A couple from Michigan recently got rich off Bitcoin and moved to a floating house in international waters off the coast of Thailand.
Apparently this is an actual thing called “seasteading” with the idea that government laws can’t “control” you.
Damn hippies…
Now, the Thai government wants to arrest them for trying to “lay claim” on Thai maritime territory, and they could face the death penalty.
Naturally, the couple is in hiding and their family and friends are real worried.
