Four People Shot At Toronto Raptors Victory Rally

What was supposed to be a joyous day full of celebration of the Toronto Raptors’ NBA championship victory turned into a moment of horror for some of the million people who showed up to the rally.

It’s not clear what or how it happened but four people were shot and three suspects were arrested yesterday.

Luckily, the people who were shot survived and suffered non-life threatening injuries but it all could have been worse because there was a stampeed away from the gunshots.

Four people were shot at the Raptors victory celebration in Toronto yesterday.

Raptors sportscaster Matt Devlin calmed the crowd down and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was not in attendance but Tweeted his support
“I hope all those injured in today’s shooting have a speedy recovery and I’d like to thank the Toronto Police for acting so quickly, we won’t let this act of violence take away from the spirit of today’s parade.”
