If you watched ESPN’s “College GameDay” this weekend, there was an Iowa State student in the background with a sign asking people to Venmo him money for beer and it worked!
Carson King’s sign read “”Busch Light supply needs replenished. Venmo Carson-King-25.”
Before he knew it, he ended up pulling in over $5,000!!
With that money, King could have thrown himself and his friends the party of the year but he decided to buy just one case of beer and then donated the rest to the University of Iowa children’s hospital.
Iowa vs. Iowa State is one of the oldest rivalries in college football.
