U.S. Women’s Soccer Team Beats Japan To Win The World Cup (Video)

The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team beat Japan 5-2 yesterday to win the Women’s World Cup…by scoring four goals in the first 16 minutes!  Three of those came from midfielder Carli Lloyd, who scored three minutes into the game, then again two minutes later, and got her third goal around the 16-minute mark.
The third was by far the best one, because she scored from midfield, right over the goalie’s head.  It also made Carli the first woman to get a hat trick in a World Cup final, and it’s the fastest hat trick in World Cup history.

This is the third time the U.S. has won the Women’s World Cup, which is more than any other country.  The last time was in 1999.
